I’m a software/DevOps engineer living in Perth, Australia. I like building and automating things to make people more productive.

Professionally, I’m looking for work :). Previously, I was a programmer and part-time SysAdmin at Sentient Computing, building a high-performance digital twin solution.

Code

Here’s some random things I’m working on:

• ducknet-ops: my Kubernetes homelab, managed with Flux and adhering to GitOps principles
• devops-upm-proxy: a proxy (API forwarder) to allow Unity’s UPM package manager to query for packages in an Azure DevOps NPM feed
• archiso-aarch64: a modification of Arch Linux’s archiso tool to build an ARM64 ISO (for booting on UEFI systems)
• skype-emoticon-scraper: a CLI tool to download emoticons (emoji) as .gif and .png from Skype in full quality

Homelab

• OPNSense firewall (routing, inbound + outbound VPN, DNS, DHCP, BGP)
• TrueNAS Scale NAS (8x 18TB HDD, RAIDZ2, ~96TB usable)
• Proxmox host (custom PC with Threadripper 2970WX, 128GB RAM)
• 3x Talos Linux Kubernetes bare-metal nodes
